As a member, contribute $500 or more annually. Funds help provide grants to The Greater Sum’s annual cohort — nonprofits whose work is demonstrably innovative, feasible, measurable, and scalable. During their year of participation, organizations receive a grant ($10-20k), mentoring, professional development, and network expansion. Learn more about our current cohort here.

What if I already contribute $500 or more to The Greater Sum? First of all, THANK YOU! Unless your gift was anonymous, you’ll automatically be recognized as a founding member of the Giving Circle. You can update your 2019 gift now or later in the year.
I care about one issue passionately. Can I designate my contribution? We can’t promise that we’ll identify a high quality nonprofit in any one focus area, but we will work hard to cultivate a high quality field of applicants, review them rigorously, and select those with the most potential. You can help us by sharing our Request for Proposals with organizations in your area of interest! AND, if you’re interested in sponsoring an organization or a specialized cohort, you can contact Anna Taylor, Executive Director, to discuss!

Can I make my contribution by check? Yes. Mail checks (payable to The Greater Sum Foundation) to our physical address, 1467 Challen Avenue, Jacksonville FL 32205
Is this a long-term commitment? Maybe. Once you know our organization, you can adjust your contribution annually. The easiest way to make your investment sustaining is to switch to MONTHLY GIVING.
Reminder: If your company matches employee giving, you can DOUBLE the impact of your donation! An estimated $4B in matching gifts go unclaimed per year - mostly because employees don’t realize their company matches gifts, or because the process isn’t user-friendly. Email us if you’d like help claiming your matching gift — we’ll figure it out.
