Your gift to Good Neighbor Lab matched through 12/31

Good Neighbor Lab brings community information, belonging, and joy to San Francisco neighborhoods. We host Neighborhood Feedback Days in low income and non-English speaking neighborhoods, design community bulletin boards for public sidewalks, and run San Francisco Good Neighbor Week.

In 2026 we are deepening our community engagement with residents and neighborhoods experiencing more social isolation. A specific focus will be supporting San Francisco residents who are facing domestic violence.Your donation to our Community Art Fund helps us pay local artists from different San Francisco neighborhoods and host community design sessions across the city.

The Greater Sum provides strategic training and mentoring for early-stage nonprofit innovators. We invest in organizations that are creating new solutions to pressing challenges and are preparing to scale their impact. We share their stories so that philanthropists like you can join in supporting them.

If you represent a grantmaking organization and would like to be connected with this nonprofit, contact us directly and we’ll make an introduction. Individuals who want to learn more about Good Neighbor Lab can visit goodneighborlab.org.

The Greater Sum supports organizations that are scaling either by expanding their service area or by teaching others to replicate their innovation. Because each nonprofit in the Promising Practices cohort is a graduate of our incubator, we know they are building a plan for sustainable growth.

Note on donations: Your gift goes directly to this nonprofit. The Greater Sum covers all matching funds and campaign costs; the only deduction is the standard platform processing fee.
